Colman Domingo, Ayo Edebiri, Victoria Monét Lead in 55th NAACP Image Awards Nominations

EBONY June 2023 cover star Colman Domingo continues his nomination reign. The Rustin and The Color Purple actor has received three nominations across the motion picture categories for the 55th NAACP Image Awards, including Entertainer of The Year.
Ayo Edebiri, who has swept the supporting actress category in several past award ceremonies this year, received an Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series nomination for her work in Hulu’s The Bear.
Victoria Monét and Usher received the most nominations in the music recording categories, earning six and five nods, respectively; RCA Records received an impressive 20 nominations, the most across record labels.
In the literary world, HarperCollins Publisher and Penguin Random House lead nominations across their categories.

The public is invited to vote to determine the winners of the 55th NAACP Image Awards in select categories by visiting naacpimageawards.net. Voting closes on February 24.
The 55th NAACP Image Awards will air live on March 16, 2024, on BET and CBS. The organization will also recognize winners in non–televised Image Awards categories from March 11 to 14, which will stream via naacpimageawards.net.
