‘Quiet on the Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV’: How to Stream the Documentary Series Without Cable

Quiet on the Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, a four-part documentary series exposing “toxic and dangerous culture” and alleged abuse on the sets of some of Nickelodeon’s hit series, will premiere on the Investigation Discovery channel on Sunday (March 17).
According to a press release from ID, the documentary series offers “unprecedented access to key cast members, writers, and crew spanning Schneider’s popular series at Nickelodeon,” including All That cast members Giovonnie Samuels, Kyle Sullivan, Bryan Hearne, Katrina Johnson and director Virgil Fabian, The Amanda Show writers Jenny Kilgen and Christy Stratton, Alexa Nikolas from Zoey 101 in addition to cast and crew from iCarly, Sam & Cat, Victorious and other Nickelodeon icons such as Marc Summers former host of Double Dare.
Drake Bell, of the Nickelodeon series Drake & Bell, appears in the documentary’s third episode, per Variety. Bell has accused former Nickelodeon acting and dialogue coach Brian Peck of sexual abuse. In August 2003, Peck was arrested on sexual abuse charges including performing a lewd act on a child. The victim was one of the children that Peck was coaching and was molested at his home for more than six months, according to the LAPD. Peck served 16 months for child molestation and is now a registered sex offender.
Quiet on the Set is directed by Mary Robertson and Emma Schwartz. The series is produced by Maxine Productions and Sony Pictures Television.

Quiet on the Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV will premiere as a four-part series over two nights, starting Sunday (March 17) at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ID Network. The second half premieres on Monday, March 18, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
