Tamron Hall’s Spectacular Third Annual Mother’s Day Extravaganza Show Celebrates Moms and Special Guests

Written by on May 13, 2024

Tamron Hall hosted her 3rd annual Mother’s Day Extravaganza, celebrating the incredible journey of motherhood with a blend of heartwarming stories and inspiring discussions. Tamron’s journey into motherhood began in 2019 when she gave birth to her son Moses.

This year’s episode showcased insights from two-time GRAMMY Award-winning gospel singer-songwriter Tasha Cobbs Leonard and Good American co-founder Emma Grede, who shared how motherhood has profoundly enriched their lives. They discussed the transformative impact of becoming mothers, explaining how it reshaped their perspectives and priorities and deepened their understanding of joy and fulfillment. Their stories highlighted how motherhood has infused their personal and professional endeavors with new meaning and purpose.

The show’s setting was picturesque Wave Hill, a stunning botanical garden and cultural center in the Bronx, New York. Surrounded by lush gardens, serene landscapes, and historic architecture, Wave Hill provided a breathtaking backdrop for the Mother’s Day Extravaganza, enhancing the show’s atmosphere and celebrating the beauty of nature. Hall’s choice of venue added a touch of elegance and tranquility to the event, creating a memorable experience for all involved.

Tasha Cobbs Leonard shared a valuable lesson she learned from motherhood: “Becoming a mom taught me to let go. I used to be all about planning every moment—what’s next, what’s the schedule. Then came Asher, who’d just throw his plate of food on the floor, teaching me that not everything needs to be controlled. His carefree spirit reminded me to relax and enjoy the unpredictable joys of life. So now, I remind myself to take it easy and reassure myself that everything will be okay.” She also put on a show for the attendees and performed one of her hit songs.

Emma Grede expressed her admiration for Brittany Johnson, founder of The Adopted Closet, saying, “Firstly, from one mom to another, I am immensely proud of you. Starting something driven by passion and purpose is no small feat, and you’ve transformed your story into something truly positive. That’s why, together with the team at Good American, we are thrilled to support The Adopted Closet by donating $15,000 worth of our products to help advance your incredible vision. You are doing something remarkable, and you should be very proud of yourself.” The Adopted Closet is a visionary project that seeks to empower women through fashion and storytelling. It provides a platform for women to share their experiences of resilience, strength, and personal growth. Through curated clothing selections and a supportive community, The Adopted Closet aims to uplift and inspire women from all walks of life.
