RuPaul Charles joined several other notable names for the world premiere of Bob Mackie: Naked Illusion at the Directors Guild of America Los Angeles. Presented by The Paley Center for Media as part of its latest PaleyLive series, the event featured an exclusive documentary screening and a panel discussion with Charles, Bob Mackie, Cher, Carol Burnette, P!nk and more.
Porsha Williams and CeeLo Green hosted the 2024 RnB Soul Picnic in Atlanta’s Westside Park over Mother’s Day weekend. Green, who curated a set, was featured along with renowned DJs such as Atlanta’s Bryan-Michael Cox, New York’s Kid Capri, DJ Trauma, DJ Envy from the Breakfast Club and more. Attendees were treated to a diverse array of sounds that touched every decade of R&B.
Michelle Buteau celebrated the release of her new movie Babes with a screening premiere party in New York City alongside co-writer and star Ilana Glazer, VIP guest Quinta Brunson and more. The film follows inseparable childhood best friends Eden and Dawn, who are now firmly in different phases of adulthood. Babes is in theaters May 17, 2024.
